    Nebraska to opt out of federal light bulb laws

    As introduced, LB1164 would prohibit the Attorney General from bringing an action pursuant to a certain federal statute that addresses the distribution in commerce of general service incandescent lamps.

    Nebraska to declare sovereignty over D.C.

    Bill: LR539

    “The Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution declares that ‘The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people’….The Legislature [of Nebraska] encourages the Congress of the United States to adhere to the principles of federalism in accord with the Ninth and Tenth Amendments to the United States Constitution.”
