Florida gets ultrasounds before abortions:

Bill: CS/HB 1127

Sponsored by Elizabeth Porter with the Health & Human Services Committee and signed into law by Gov. Rick Scott in 2011, CS/HB 1127 mandates that an ultrasound be performed on women obtaining abortion. The law requires that ultrasound be reviewed with patient before woman gives informed consent for abortion procedure. An exemption is made for women who are victims of rape, incest, domestic violence, or human trafficking.
