    Wyoming ‘Constitutional Carry’ law allows open or concealed carry of guns without a permit

    Sponsored by Rep. Jaggi and Sen. Jennings, and signed into law in 2011 by Gov. Matt Mead, SF0047 (Act No. 70) allows a person to carry a concealed weapon without a permit if the person is a resident of the United States and has been a resident of Wyoming for six months, and is at least 21 years of age.

    Wyoming passes firearms freedom act

    Bill: HB0095 (PDF)

    Sponsored by Rep. Allen Jaggi, et al., and signed into law by Gov. Dave Freudenthal, HB0095 establishes the Wyoming Firearms Freedom Act, which provides that specified firearms manufactured, sold, purchased, possessed and used exclusively within Wyoming shall be exempt from federal regulation, including registration requirements. The bill also provides exceptions, identifies offenses, provides penalties, and authorizes the attorney general to defend specified actions.
