Pennsylvania to make federal gun control enforcement a criminal offense

Bill: HB357 (PDF)

Sponsored by Reps. Metcalfe, Baker, Bloom, Brooks, et al, HB357 (Right to Bear Arms Protection Act) prohibits the enforcement of any new federal restriction, prohibition or registration requirement for firearms, magazines, and ammunition. The bill requires the state to intercede on behalf of Pennsylvania citizens against any federal attempt to register, ban or restrict the purchase or ownership of firearms and firearms accessories. Any state or federal agents who try to enforce any type of gun control restriction within state borders would face arrest and be charged with a felony.
