Arizona among states seeking interstate compact to nullify Obamacare
Sponsored by Sen. Sylvia Allen and Rep. Crandell, and requiring no additional approval by the U.S. Congress, SB1078 authorizes the State of Arizona to enter an “Interstate Health Care Freedom Compact” to enforce state law against the federal health care mandate. Any attempt by a governmental official to compel persons, employers, or health care providers to participate in any health care system against their will is a Class 1 misdemeanor. Eligible party states of the compact include states with “health care freedom” laws. Under the compact, party states agree to cooperate together in the criminal prosecution of anyone who violates the health care freedom laws of any party state.
